The South Texas College Psychology Club will host the Fourth Starr County Role Models Get Inspired! Conference on Thursday, July 18, at 11:30 a.m. at the Starr County Campus Auditorium, located at 142 FM 3167 in Rio Grande City.

The four featured panelists at the Starr County Role Models Get Inspired! Conference are former Texas state Rep. Ryan Guillen, TV reporter Belen De Leon, The University of Texas Health Science Center third-year medical student Leo Lopez III, and STC VP for Financial Services Diana Peña.

“We are very excited to have four distinguished individuals from Starr County talk to our students and inspire them by sharing their success stories, achievements, and also some of the obstacles they have overcome,” said STC Psychology Instructor and Psychology Club Adviser Alexandro Sarabia. “Our four guest panelists are looking forward to this event and so are we.”

The conference is free and open to the public, and will feature a Question and Answer session at the conclusion of the event.
