A press release from the County of Starr public relations office reports County Pct. 3 Commissioner Eloy Garza recently worked to provide his precinct with a lamentable yet much needed service.
According to the release, Garza became aware of the need for a new cemetery to for the residents of Starr County’s Pct. 3 and began searching for a space to ensure that everyone in his precinct has a place to bury their loved ones at no cost for the family.
The newly created cemetery has a capacity of 1800 plots which will reportedly take care of the needs of Pct. 3 for many years to come.
